I will add that although I own a Kobo Forma, most purchased content is from the Kindle store, with occasional purchases from the Kobo store. Now, that I just bought a new Kindle PPW4 so Im using Calibre to convert my books (epub to mobi) that I bought from playbooks before and use it to transfer to my new Kindle. This is mostly because of size constraints. I used to read using my phone where its easy for me to buy books from Google Playbooks. The Kindle Cloud Reader app allows you to read content online. In Calibre I have ALL my books (read and unread). After youve purchased your book, you can download and read it on the Kindle apps for PC, Mac, iOS, and Android. However most of my books are sideloaded using Calibre. I have some books from Amazon and I know how to transfer these. These I usually purchase from Amazon, and they get read in the Kindle app on my iPad they are tagged as DO NOT SEND in Calibre, and aren't converted to ePub.
